Hi, I’m Nitaya, founder of Ninu Handmade. Growing up in Thailand as a proud Lisu, I learned hand sewing and weaving from my grandmother. These skills connected me to my roots and sparked my passion for creating. Now in America, I craft unique, wearable embroidery art and gifts using new and repurposed materials. I strive to work with sustainable and natural fibers to honor the process and the planet.

While she has worked in multifamily, restaurant, and light commercial, Rebecca has focused much of her career on residential design completing multimillion dollar home renovations and additions in and around the nation’s capital, hand selecting interior and exterior fixtures and finishes.

Awarded Thirty Under 30 in 2019 and a Certified Kitchen and Bath Designer, Rebecca has completed a multitude of bespoke designs from Scandinavian, Moroccan inspired, Transitional, to Mid-Century Modern.

Collecting various mid-century furniture pieces throughout the years, Rebecca combined her personal passion with extensive professional experience, leading to the creation of The Scantique Home.
